Milton Keynes Amateur Radio Society have a number of members who, under the grateful guidance of Steve (G6ALU) and help of Ray (G4TZR), are constructing the Pic-A-Star HF transceiver.

Another chalk and cheese week. 7O6T (Yemen) and 6O0CW (Somalia), (not pirates then) seemed to swap top spot all week. There was pretty fair of DX all about but these two are, to say the least, very unusual. Tony also hears from Big Dave, VK5MRD who, after several months absence from the airwaves, has just treated himself to a brand-new Icom 7410
