Welcome to MKARS the Milton Keynes Amateur Radio Society.
The club has nearly 60 years of history and an enthusiastic membership with very diverse interests. The club is particularly proud of the association with Bletchley Park and our successful training, for which we have introduced hundreds of members to the hobby.

There is a weekly net on the clubs 70cm repeater GB3MK. All members and prospective members are welcome.
Due to the high demand for training we will be running 2 Foundation courses this year, one starting on the 24th January and the other after Easter. We still have a few places available for the post Easter course.
If you have asked for a place on these courses you should get an e-mail in the next few days. If you do not recive an e-mail then contact us on firstname.lastname@example.org
It is planned to start a Foundation course starting early/mid January 2017.

Following payment of membership at the AGM (or around that time) a couple of people have mentioned to me that they need a Membership card.

Hi all club members just to let know that our secretary has paid the deposit to the Irish Club for the Rally on the 27th August 2017 so you have plenty of time to get organized!

As per the agreement at the AGM, club meetings now have a donation of £1 per person.
Could we also ask everyone to sign in please. It helps committee with numbers and membership.
Members are encouraged to attend the club meeting on 7th September to disscuss the recent news regarding building 41. its your club come and have your say.
As from Sunday 10th of May the MKARS nett will be on our GB3MK repeater at 20.00 local. Hopefully the move will attract members to use the new Fusion repeater.
