Club night for us to plan our attack on the parks of MK on 28th July.
Following from our successful activation of Lodge Lake Park in May we are going to scale things up and try to activate as many parks as we can on one night.
So at this club night we have the chance to discuss and plan who is going to which park, what bands/modes we are going to use and what callsigns.
Also the possibility of working park to park ourselves.
If you’re keen to have a go, and have some portable kit, or perhaps want to team up with some other club members to create a portable station then bring some kit along, we can do some trials on the evening.
Current thinking is we can do 4 parks but maybe we can do more?
It is quite common for 2 operators to share a station and use their own callsigns, so each contact is effectively two, so we can all get involved, and a good opportunity for the more mic-shy members to get involved.
As usual we meet at 7.30pm, but if you want to get there earlier and setup an antenna etc. the gates will be opened about 7pm.
