The Milton Keynes Amateur Radio Society (MKARS) annual radio rally is to be held at this superb location, which has excellent modern facilities together with free on site parking, catering and disabled facilities.

OPEN TO THE PUBLIC FROM      9AM

The venue is located near Central Milton Keynes opposite the National Badminton Centre. (Follow the brown shuttlecock signs)

RESERVATION ADVISED
We have car parking available opposite the venue at the National Badminton Centre. However in 2025 we ran out of car parking spaces at the Badminton Centre, and we had difficulties accommodating all our visitors. This year to pre-empt this, avoid dissapointment and avoid potential Health and Safety issues we are reserving some field space for overflow car parking, and so have to reduce the number of outdoor traders we can accept. But we do have a whole 2nd indoor hall which wasn’t used previously and can accommodate approximately 10 traders. It is therefore recommended that you pre-book a place if you are wanting to trade/exhibit. In total we have approximately 25 outdoor pitches and 20 indoor tables, but when they are gone they are gone.

PARKING

Disabled visitors (with blue badge) can park inside the Herons Lodge grounds, there will be a traffic marshal at the entrance.

Visitors will be directed to either the National Badminton Centre car park opposite, or to field space within the Herons Lodge Ground.

Traders should enter the Herons Lodge entrance and will be guided to a suitable pitch (or parking if taking an indoor pitch).

Please DO NOT park on the road or the nearby residents will complain and we will not get the venue in future years.

TRADER/EXHIBITORS

Arrival (Gates open) from 7am

Outdoor Pitches are up to 5m at £10 or multiples of.

Indoor pitches are 3m at £10 or multiples of.

If you have your own tables for indoor use please bring them.

It is strongly recommended to book advance. If you have queries please email rally@mkars.org.uk. There is no telephone number for booking!

We do not permit the use of Generators on site for Health and Safety / Insurance reasons, so if you need power, please request an indoor table or bring suitable batteries.

MKARS reserve the right to refuse entry.

Catering will be provided by MKARS inside the hall, and will include Tea/Coffee/Cold drinks as well as Sausage rolls and other snacks.
