Aircraft Scatter talk – 13 Feb 22

It is well known since before WW2 that Aircraft reflect radio waves. This is obviously the basis of Radar but it can also be used to reflect a radio signal for communication purposes, in the case of Amateur radio to make a contact over longer distances than usual. We will explore the theory and the practice of how this can be done and look at some of the software that makes it easier to predict when you’re likely to be able to do it and arrange a schedule with ‘the other end’.
