About the Event
Get ready for an evening of festive fun and friendly competition at the MKARS Amateur Radio Christmas Quiz! This event is open to all members of local amateur radio clubs [and Online ARC], whether you’re joining us in person at the National Museum of Computing or participating remotely from the comfort of your own home. Questions are targeted at everyone, with some giving advantages for the newly licenced and others for those with more specialist knowledge. We will also include a general knowledge round to mix things up!
How to Participate
For those joining us at the MKARS Club Night at the National Museum of Computing, you’ll have the opportunity to work together with your club members to tackle the quiz questions, working individually or as a group, one member will need access to a mobile phone. We’ll provide delicious food and drinks to keep your energy up! If you are visiting from a neighbouring club please do drop us a line so we can ensure we have enough food to feed you [ firstname.lastname@example.org ]
Can’t make it in person? No worries! You can still join the quiz remotely using your mobile phone or web browser. We’ll share the Zoom link and the quiz link on the day of the event right here on this page.
The main purpose of the event is to have a bit of fun, but we do have a few small prizes for the winners. Most importantly we are playing for the pride of our clubs, with the individual winner’s club gaining a special honour.
